Oversized Vintage Barboglio Jan-Christina red coat made of a medium weight cotton. Coat has large, pointed collar and padded shoulder. Appears hand sewn. Dolman sleeves. Neck folds into a V-neck shape, then coat lies open without buttons or zipper. Huge pockets on each side, with a large pocket on the chest. There is white stitching throughout.
When I say the "large" coat is oversized, I mean it is HUGE. This coat could easily fit a larger figure, but I know it was made to be baggy.
Pit to pit is 36"
Length is 41"
Sleeve opening 8.5"
I think it's a really funky, very unusual, fun jacket to wear. It is most-likely a 1980's coat. Would look really cool with an oversized pin.It is roomy throughout the hips, then narrows a little when it hits the knee.
Condition is very good. No rips or stains. There might be some slight fading to the red fabric.
